About Canon - Industry

Semiconductor Exposure Systems

Semiconductor exposure equipment is critical to the creation of electronic devices. In order to respond to shrinking linewidths of semiconductors, Canon commercialized its innovative liquid immersion lithography and is now further developing other cutting-edge technologies, such as extreme ultraviolet (EUV).

Die Bonders

Die bonders are used to pick up individually diced chips and bond them onto integrated circuit lead frames during the post-processing of semiconductors. By achieving high productivity and stable operation at low cost, these systems contribute to the development of semiconductor manufacturing.

IAMS* Mass Spectrometer

Ion Attachment Mass Spectrometry (IAMS) is a method of ionizing the molecules of a measured gas by attaching lithium ions, enabling the mass of substances to be measured without damaging test samples. Mass spectrometers that employ this method make possible high-accuracy mass spectrometry procedures.
