Universal Color Design Initiatives

COLOR UNIVERSAL DESIGN

Canon is engaged in advancing universal color designs for our products so they are visible to all users, regardless of individual differences in color perception.

We have obtained Color Universal Design (CUD) certification from the Color Universal Design Organization (http://www.cudo.jp/e/) - an NPO that certifies products that are designed to be universally visible, regardless of individual differences in color perception - for our office multifunctional and inkjet printer products.

We intend to apply universal color designs to more products in the future.
