Universal Design Guide

Importance of This Guide
We conceive of universal design as being able to flexibly address all kinds of issues by thinking from the customer's standpoint instead of following a set of fixed development rules.
This guide organizes various issues that customers may encounter when using products and was created to encourage designers to put themselves in the customer's shoes.
Although the guide is intended for Canon employees, we have released this guide so the public can better understand our development approach.
At Canon, we are committed to product development that always takes a user-centric approach. We hope you will continue to support our universal design initiatives.
