Canon renewed Optical Image Stabilizer |
Canon overcomes the most noticeable problem with telephoto zoom lenses; Image Shake.
World's first and only "Ultra Zoom Ratio" Field Lens with built in Optical Image Stabilization.
Canon has designed the world's first Ultra Zoom Ratio zoom lens for field production
with an incredible magnification of 86 times. (DIGI
SUPER 86 xs, DIGI SUPER 86 TELE xs)
for Box type and 40times (HJ40x10B, HJ40x14B)
for burrel type.
The history of zoom lenses for field production is a history of zoom ratio/focal length extension. The 40x became 45x and kept on growing, 50x - 55x and 70x. It came to a point where the industry thought it would be impossible to push the envelope any further. The telephoto focal length of the lens got so long that even the slightest amount of wind or camera operator movement would cause image shake and viewing of the picture became intolerable.
Canon, renowned for its optical image stabilization technologies in its broadcast
ENG lenses, still photography lenses, consumer video lenses and even binoculars,
is proud to announce the development of a stabilization solution for the broadcast
field production lens. The first and only in its kind, the XJ86x, XJ86x TELE,
HJ40x1D, HJ40x14 employs an internal Optical Shift
Image Stabilizer to overcome image shaking at telephoto focal lengths.
