Second Generation Digital Servo Demands
ZDJ-D02In order to maximize the features of the latest DIGI SUPER Series lenses, Canon developed its latest Servo Demand Series keeping complete upward compatibility. The combination of the latest DIGI SUPER Series lenses and the following second generation Zoom and Focus Demands achieve a versatile studio/field lens package satisfying professional users requirements.

Digital Zoom Demand, ZDJ-D02
The ZDJ-D02 Zoom Demand employs a 32bit CPU and a large capacity memory and is designed for complete ease of operation while allowing use of new creative digital zoom functions when used with the latest DIGISUPER Series zoom lenses.

The greatest feature is its enriched new functions. In addition to the conventional one position zoom preset function; it is now possible to instantaneously recall two zoom preset positions. In addition, the zoom track function capability for setting the telephoto and wide end positions has been enhanced and no longer needs to be set within a limited range. Also, a customization function that enables users to set specific functions and operational characteristics offers an operating environment that exactly matches the users requirements.

Another great feature offers enhanced usability and ease of operation. The characteristics of the new digital zoom demand include a highly visible display, with an easily accessible operation panel featuring a new layout with logical and simple switch positions. The switches on the operation panel are separated into preset-function setting switches and function activation switches. In terms of ease of operation, the switch location is well thought out.

At the touch of a button, this feature allows the operator to zoom back and forth instantly between any two positions at the maximum speed or at any desired speed memorized in the speed preset function in either direction. It can be used for zooming to either the tele-side or wider focal length from any starting point to check the picture, then return instantly to the original focal length. You can ÒshuttleÓ between any two zoom positions as you like.

Framing Preset
A movement to a preset position can, again, be repeated multiple times. The preset memory is not automatically cleared and the agreed-on framings from rehearsal can be duplicated over and over in an actual production at the maximum speed or at any desired speed memorized in the speed preset function.
