The North American teleproduction industry recently recognized its top vendors in awards presented by Film & Video Magazine. The 2001 Entertainment Media Survey was an independent analysis of the North American teleproduction industry and is conducted annually by Film & Video Magazine. In the important category of “Quality Leader”, over 200 top production facilities were surveyed and Canon USA’s Broadcast and Communications Division was presented with the “Outstanding Achievement Award for Overall Service Quality” by the magazine. Accepting the award for Canon USA at NAB 2001 was Mr. Mitsushi Shimohira, the Assistant Director responsible for all after sales support and service in North, Central and South America. Mr. Shimohira’s department was overwhelmingly chosen as providing the best North American support and service in the broadcast equipment industry.
