Film Transport

An automatic film advance and rewind system is a standard mechanism for current camera models. Here we introduce how our rewind system was developed, achieving easy-to-use operation enabling the user to concentrate on photography first.

1. Dial 35 first camera to be equipped with automatic film transport
The Dial 35 has a spring motor built into the grip. Clicking the shutter triggers the automatic film advance and advances the film to the next frame. Rewinding is also driven by this same spring motor.
