If a camera is placed on a low table to take a picture using the self-timer, often the camera needed to be propped up on an angle as the lens was too low to capture the full subject without cutting off the picture.
The Autoboy 3 corrected this by installing an adjustable foot at the bottom of the body so that you wouldn’t have to prop up the camera in resting position.
