3. Improved designs for enhanced vertical shooting have been introduced since the A-1.
The easy-to-use shutter button for vertical shooting was incorporated in the motor drive of the A-1 for the first time.
In addition, a vertical grip with a shutter button was developed for the EOS-5.
The Power Drive Booster of the EOS-1V was equipped not only with shutter button for vertical shooting, but also with the main electronic dial and focusing point selection button. The same level of operability of horizontal shooting is thus assured with vertical shooting as well.
