4. Two parameters can be set simultaneously with the additional sub-electronic (Quick Control) dial incorporated in the EOS-1 and later generations.
From the EOS-1 to the current series such as EOS-1V and EOS 7, the cameras are equipped with two dials; the main electronic dial near the shutter button and the sub-electronic (Quick Control) dial on the camera back, enabling the simultaneous setting of two parameters.
For example, the shutter speed can be set by turning the main electronic dial with an index finger, while the aperture can be set by turning the sub-electronic (Quick Control) dial with a thumb at the same time, ensuring the quick setting for manual shooting.
