Exhibiting at Environmental Exhibitions
Canon takes part in a variety of environmental exhibitions, showcasing its environmentally conscious products and environmental initiatives.
In 2010, we participated in Eco-Products 2010, the largest general environmental expo in Japan, as well as at the Kawasaki International ECO-Tech Fair 2010. We introduced a variety of environmental impact-reduction activities at these expos, based on Canon's "Action for Green" environmental vision. By erecting a stage and showing product use from the perspective of customers we were able to offer actual demonstrations of environmental impact reduction.
In addition, we held our "Canon EXPO 2010" events in New York, Paris, and Tokyo, so as to demonstrate Canon's approach to growth from 2010 onward to our main business partners. The Expo's Environmental Corner exhibited a variety of environmental conservation activities based on our environmental vision, as well as environmental action rooted in local communities.
