Canon's Publications Portfolio
Canon Inc. began publishing Ecology in 1994 as the forerunner to the Canon Environmental Report in 1999. Expanding the scope of the report to cover economic and social aspects, we started publishing the Sustainability Report annually from 2003.
Canon (Schweiz) A.G. in 1994 was the first company in the Canon Group to publish an environmental report. In addition to Canon (China) Co., Ltd., the Canon Marketing Japan Group, Canon Electronics Inc. and other companies currently issue CSR reports, while Canon ANELVA Corporation produces an environmental report. Canon Australia Pty. Ltd. also publishes the Canon Oceania Sustainability Report, which covers the activities of Oceania Group companies.
This year again, Canon Europe Ltd. has issued its 2010-11 sustainability report in English and five European languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch). Translations of this report, many including customized sections, have also been released by 14 marketing subsidiaries in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Middle East, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK, in 10 languages. These versions can be found on the respective country websites.
