For medical imaging we seek to establish a new medical business domain through the application of Canon imaging technology toward the development of new technologies and products.

With regard to intelligent robots, we first want to develop them for in-house, automated production and then expand their application to external sales.

As for safety-related technology, we are looking into utilizing 50-megapixel CMOS sensors capable of reading automobile license plates at a distance of 300 meters, even at a wide angle.
