Canon will continue working to accelerate cost savings and achieve further improvements in product quality by incorporating new production technologies, not only at the new factory to be established in Thailand, but also at all new and existing facilities that will invest in production expansion. Efforts to expand in-house production into new areas and realize even higher levels of automation and in-house production will also contribute to this goal.
