CSR
Canon's business activities are supported by the stability and development of society overall. In addition to sound and fair business practices, in order to contribute to the realization of an even better society, Canon carries out CSR activities in accordance with the Canon Group CSR Activity Policy. We promote activities that make use of our advanced technological capabilities supporting humanitarian aid and disaster relief through the Red Cross and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Through the Tsuzuri Project (Official Title: Cultural Heritage Inheritance Project), Canon contributes to society by promoting activities to preserve Japanese cultural artifacts, and through the Panda Protection Project, the company provides surveillance camera equipment as a way to protect wild pandas. We also strive to reduce CO2 emissions through the promotion of initiatives aimed at improving the functionality of our products while minimizing environmental burden in line with our Environmental Vision.
