What can I do when I have trouble in connecting ?

Please refer to the users guide for Direct Printing that comes with a Canon digital camera. Also important to make sure of the following:

  1. Are both the input and output products support PictBridge?
If the product supports PictBridge, the below PictBridge mark/logo can be found on the product, packaging box, or instructions..
    PictBridge rogo
  2. You are recommended to use the home power supply so that printing will not be suspended in the middle due to the battery of the digital camera/camcorder running out. If using a battery, we recommend charging the battery to full capacity before using it.
  3. Turn off the digital camera and printer and disconnect and connect again. Turn on the printer and then turn on the digital camera to see if they can be connected.
When a camera is connected to an Inkjet printer, are there any ways to confirm if the connection is successfully made?

When the connection is successfully established, the Inkjet printer's power LED flashes green twice. When the connection is not successfully established, the power LED does not flash twice. Depending on the digital camera/camcorder, print settings may be required to be set on the output device before connecting to a printer. Please refer to the digital camera/camcorder user's guide for operation.
