Green Procurement

Guided by our corporate philosophy of "Kyosei", Canon has been conducting global environmental conservation activities. One of these activities is green procurement, in which procurement and purchasing of environment-friendly materials, parts, and products are prioritized when necessary resources are produced and purchased.

Canon recognizes green procurement is one of the most important factors of our environment. Canon has issued "Global Canon Green Procurement Standards" and "Global Canon Green Procurement Guide" as early as 1997, and has promoted various environmental strategies in all areas of corporate activity together with suppliers.
