Disaster relief activities for the quake in Indonesian island of Java
The Canon Group has provided the following disaster relief for the earthquake victims on May 27.
- Canon Group corporations in Japan contributed 33 million yen in total through the Red Cross of Japan.
- Canon Singapore contributed an amount equivalent of US$10,000 in total through the Red Cross of Singapore.
Additionally, employee contributions totaling 2,351,359 yen (approximately US$20,500) were collected at Canon Inc. offices and Canon Group companies throughout Japan. These funds were also donated through the Japanese Red Cross Society.
