It has been reported that Kyushu has suffered damage caused by landslides, overflowing rivers, the inundation of houses and buildings above and below floor level and other flood related devastation over a wide area, as a result of record-breaking torrential rains.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family members and friends of those who lost their lives, and our sincere sympathies to all victims in this time of great grief and anxiety.

The Canon Group will donate a total of 10 million yen to be used for disaster relief for the victims of this heavy rain damage, as well as for the reconstruction of stricken areas.
