Disaster Relief for the aftermath of the Leyte Landslide in the Philippines
The Canon Group has pledged more than US$600,000 to help victims of the large-scale earthquake off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia, and the resulting tsunamis in neighboring countries.
- A donation of 20 million yen to the Red Cross of Japan from the Canon Group in Japan.
- A donation of 500 thousand peso (equivalent to 1.15 million yen) to the Red Cross of the Philippines from Canon Group local subsidiaries.
