Three companies, Canon Marketing (Taiwan), Canon Semiconductor Equipment Taiwan and Taiwan Canon, donated a total of six million Taiwanese yuan (equivalent to approximately ¥18 million) to the Red Cross Society of Taiwan, to provide assistance to disaster areas stricken by Typhoon, Morakot.

This donation will be used for relief activities in and the reconstruction of stricken areas requiring the most assistance.
