As part of its cultural support activities, Canon supported a performance of the classical Chinese opera Shui hu zhuan (Outlaws of the Marsh)-Yachorin.

This opera adapts a chapter from Shui hu zhuan, a classic book written in the North Song era in China. This time, Beijing Opera Academy, one of the three largest opera groups in China, was invited to perform. Representative actors and actresses of the Chinese opera world play the leading roles, and toured Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
