Canon Cats Week Held

Canon and the Shiki Theater Company organized Canon Cats Week at the Canon Cats Theater in Yokohama, from September 13 to 18, and invited about 4,200 middle school students from local schools to participate.

A music experience program was started in 2008 to provide an opportunity for children to enjoy music, to try the violin, viola, cello, and other musical instruments under the guidance of performing musicians, and to appreciate mini-concerts.
Tsuzuri Project

The "Tsuzuri Project" (Official Title: Cultural Heritage Inheritance Project) is an endeavor contributing to society by promoting activities to preserve cultural artifacts. The Kyoto Culture Association organizes this project and Canon Inc. is a cosponsor. The project passes on Japan's cultural artifacts to future generations by using digital technology to preserve and reproduce (print) them.
