Profile of Ikuyo Nomura
Born in Kyoto in 1962. She won the 7th Artbility - Asahi Breweries Encouragement Prize and the 12th Artbility - Hitachi Capital Special Award.
"I have enjoyed painting since my childhood. There seems nothing more blissful for me than painting pictures all my life. And, I would like to paint a picture that is truly mine some day. I paint day after day hoping that I make that dream come true. Still groping in the dark to find my way, I'm walking along an endless path, which is my life."
