Singing About Spring
The flora chain of spring, as though powered by electricity. With the switch ON, the buds all sprout at once. Powered by the life force of trees linked by one electric wire, The flowers burst into bloom; I painted it to look like that. It's the beginning of the season that makes our hearts rejoice.
Duet of the Forest
The strains of woodwinds sounding like Kagura at festivals or jazz waft from the forest.
The ancient Indio people (of the American continents) appeased the forest gods by dedicating dances accompanied by rhythmic sounds to them.
Even today, their genetic descendants continue to preserve this tradition respectfully as a cultural heritage.

"I am Hiromichi Iida. I'm glad to meet you. I am newly disabled (hearing impaired). I did not paint pictures prior to becoming disabled. However, since then I have come to paint with the belief that I have been reborn. I paint pictures by recollecting the sounds of music and the chirping of birds, which are all memories from my past."
