When time that stands still is stirred, The waves in the air awaken wildlife from their winter slumber. The melting of the snow is opening day of feeding season for them.

Snowscape

Steady snowfall brings airports, harbors, and roads to a halt. But the children play gleefully in the white stuff, And I'm restless to see the snowyoutdoors.

Singing About Spring

The flora chain of spring, as though powered by electricity. With the switch ON, the buds all sprout at once. Powered by the life force of trees linked by one electric wire, The flowers burst into bloom; I painted it to look like that. It's the beginning of the season that makes our hearts rejoice.

Duet of the Forest

The strains of woodwinds sounding like Kagura at festivals or jazz waft from the forest.
The ancient Indio people (of the American continents) appeased the forest gods by dedicating dances accompanied by rhythmic sounds to them.
Even today, their genetic descendants continue to preserve this tradition respectfully as a cultural heritage.

Green Mail

A grand primeval forest of camphor trees stood here until the Meiji period.
The giant camphor tree in Gamagoori-seita, Aichi Prefecture, is a remnant of that forest.
The allure of the ancient forest endures even now.

Napping in the Shade of a Tree

As soon as I enter the shade of a tree on a hot day, I relax as though hypnotized and my eyelids droop. Even the cat is unhappy with the air-conditioning.

I paint pictures by recollecting the sounds of music and the chirping of birds, which are all memories from my past."
