"Album of Memories" is the toy chest of my mind.
I have a memory of going to play with a friend in her room when I was little, and being impressed at the sight of her toys so tidily lined up in a box on a shelf.
It looked just like the toy section in a department store.
For a little child, the toy section of a department store is like a castle of dreams.
There came a time when I felt that I wanted to depict that castle of dreams.
That is how this work was born.
It is the toy collection of me as an adult.

Without being aware of it I have come to support my mother, who had been so energetically supporting my life and livelihood around the time I first began submitting my works to Artbility.
At times when providing nursing care exhausts me, I always recall that during the year I was hospitalized following my accident, my mother never let three days pass without taking the train to come to visit me.
Until now, my mother has been there for me at all times, sharing my joy and also my sorrow.
Although I have less time for painting, I work at my mother's side, doing a little at a time and enjoying myself.
I hope to be able to offer you some beautiful works over the coming year.
Hereafter as well, I want to live doing my best.
