No.3 "Spring Snow "

"I have viewed the works of printmaker Yoko Yamamoto at exhibitions. Of her many works, I find myself fascinated by a set of prints depicting the sky. They are done in a variety of colors and shatter the barrier created by my conventional ideas for me. Bound by them, I have an admiration for paintings and drawings done by children, who are not yet tainted by convention. Spring Snow is a work born of such experiences viewing Yamamoto's prints. Although the color of the sky is not the same as hers, Spring Snow is a work that is important to me."
