In Cosmos and Butterflies, a recently completed work, I have painted cosmos flowers from a fond memory of cosmos in bloom in a lane that, sadly, has now been cleared of them.

For many years, I have admired a certain Artbility artist and have made painting like her my goal. I want to better create hope-filled, gentle paintings like the ones she does!! That is why, for this work, I attempted changing the materials I usually use, and I was finally able to create a work that I am satisfied with, for the first time ever.
