“I am Hiromichi Iida. I‘m glad to meet you. I am newly disabled (hearing impaired). I did not paint pictures prior to becoming disabled. However, since then I have come to paint with the belief that I have been reborn. I paint pictures by recollecting the sounds of music and the chirping of birds, which are all memories from my past.”
