Employees at Canon Nederland have been participating in volunteer activities since 2004. Their activities include helping to build children's playgrounds and helping children in hospital to take pictures and then printing their pictures up in albums as gifts for the families.

[Since 2008-]
The One Stop Community Programme is an activity that involves Canon Opto (Malaysia) in the beautification and greeting of the city of Shah Alam, where they are located. Children in the city draw pictures of nature, and volunteer employees and residents team up to clean the neighborhood.
