Canon Electronic Business Machines (H.K.) provided sponsoring support for the 4th Hong Kong Secondary School Students Japanese Speech Contest, held at the University of Hong Kong on April 13, 2008.

Canon Electronic Business Machines (H.K.) has continued to support this contest, held to among other things encourage the Japanese language studies of high school students in Hong Kong, from its very beginning.

On the day of the contest, 16 students presented speeches exhibiting a high level of proficiency, on topics such as “The Goal of Learning Japanese,” “Let’s Protect the Earth!” and “Welcome to Hong Kong.”

Honorable Mention and Fighting Spirit Prize recipients received electronic dictionaries (Chinese language models) from Canon Electronic Business Machines (H.K.).
