Support for World Vision Japan

World Vision Japan delivers direct assistance to people, particularly children around the world in impoverished or difficult situations, ranging from emergency assistance to development assistance according to the need. To mark its 20th year of operations in July 2007, World Vision Japan held “One Life Experience” exhibition. Endorsing the aim of the event, Canon assisted in the production and printing of photo signage for the event.

Charity Book Fairs

Each year since 1997 Canon has sponsored an in-house charity book fair for the purpose of assisting the education, medical care, and self-reliance of young people across Asia. This charity event is one employees from domestic Group companies can easily take part in; books and CDs are collected over the year and then sold off at the book fair. Canon matches the funds raised through the book fair and donates the total to NPOs and NGOs working to help the education and healthcare of young people in Asia.
