The TSUZURI Project: Cultural Heritage Inheritance Project
The project for handing Down Cultural heritage to Future Generations - called the TSUZURI Project - was jountly launched by the KYOTO INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL FOUNDATION and Canon Inc., and aims to pass on Japanese cultural heritage to future generations through digital recordingst that reproduce original recordings that reproduce original works with the highest possible precision. These duplicates enable such heritage to be preserved in optimal surroundings to prevent deterioration. The duplicates will be donated to shrines, temples, museums, schools and cultural facilities in related regions for public exhibition.

Full-scale copies are produced with a Canon large-format printer from high-tech digital scans of originals
Canon Cup Junior Soccer
Canon Cup Junior Succer is a five-a -side soccer competition for primary school boys and girls in Japan. The boys and girls selected from among the participants take part in an international soccer tournament, promoting international exchange and friendship.
New Cosmos of Photography
Starting in 1991, the New Cosmos of Photography photo contest has been open to all entrants irrespective of age, nationality, entry size and form. It aims to discover, nurture and support new photographers who extend new possibilities of photographic expression.

Canon Junior Photographers
This project aims to increase children's awareness of the environment and to provide them with opportunities to convey their discoveries and feelings via photography. With cooperation from school teachers and local residents, the project is conducted nationwide.

Assistance to arts and culture institutions and organizations
Canon contributes to the development of arts and culture through assistance provided to many groups, including the New National Theatre Tokyo, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.
