About Junior Photographers

Courses on photography are given to promote our better communication with nature around us and learning about the environment.

Photo project “Junior Photographers” aims to increase children’s awareness of the environment, and to provide them with opportunities to convey their discoveries and feelings to others by means of photography.

A digital camera course, a photography field trip to a city, in which nature is still alive or an area which is kept green, and the presentation session take place in cooperation with educational institutes and/or local volunteers.

The number of the participant is around 3,000 in total after the project started in 2004. The district where the program is held is throughout Japan including Hokkaido and Okinawa. Now the project has grown into nationwide activities.

The project is favorably received at each district where the program is held, as it encourages children to develop their fresh sensitivity, and also gives local people a good opportunity to think again about their attractive surroundings.

Why don’t you join this program to discover new merits of the environment and enjoy liveliness of children?
