Open selection meeting participants
On Friday, November 9, 2007, six days after the New Cosmos of Photography 2007 exhibition opened on Culture Day, November 3, 2007, the Grand Prize selection open committee meeting was held at a hall on he first floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.
At this open-to-public meeting to select a Grand Prize winner, six Excellence Award finalists : Yuki Aoyama, Megumi Kurosawa, Noriko Takuma, Toshifumi Tafuku, Shinya Nakazato, and Daisuke Nakashima, were present, in addition to the selection panel of six judges: regular judges, Nobuyoshi Araki, Kotaro Iizawa, Fumio Nanjo, Daido Moriyama, and guest judges, Ryoichi Enomoto and Bohnchang Koo.
