Open selection meeting participants
On Friday, November 28, 2008, during the New Cosmos of Photography 2008 exhibition (Saturday, November 8-Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography Exhibition Room on 1st floor), the 2008 Grand Prize selection of (31st competition) open selection meeting was held at a hall on the first floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.
The six nominees present were: Okabe Tokyo, Kohei Koyama, Kenya Sugai, Masanori Hata, Ayano Hoya, and Miyuki Motoki. The regular judges were Nobuyoshi Araki, Kotaro Iizawa, and Fumio Nanjo. Guest judges were Ryoichi Enomoto, Katsumi Omori, and Rika Noguchi.
