New Cosmos of Photography 2012 Grand Prize selection committee meeting report
[ Meeting begins ]
When the meeting began at 15:30, the venue was almost full to capacity. As expectations and tension rose, the selection committee meeting began.
First, the judges took to the stage. The five judges this year were photographer Katsumi Omori, Masafumi Sanai, art critic Noi Sawaragi, photo critic Minoru Shimizu, and photographer HIROMIX.
The judges took their seats to applause, and next, the Grand Prize candidates Shingo Kakita, Yohei Kichiraku, Robin Haseba, Yuki Hamanaka, and Yosuke Harada nervously came onto the stage.
