Since I was small, I’ve loved animals, and I was always surrounded by them. There were always farms near my house. Besides cows, there were also horses, goats, dogs, etc. at the farms, and I used to enjoy playing with horses and goats and dogs. But, I didn’t pay attention to the cows. However, when I pointed a camera, the cows became expressive beyond belief. Seeing the cows smiling or being nervous, I snapped the shutter with excitement. From that point everyday, I’d go home from the farm covered in cow slobber and dung. By starting photography, I was able to become friends with the cows. From now on, I’d like to point my camera at things I want to photograph, with the exhilarating anticipation of what new friends I can make next.

It has a lot of impact. It seems like she thought, I want to photograph that! and just ran up to it and shot it. She is also displaying it in a straightforward manner, without sprucing it up to try to make it look better. In the end, it’s the straightforward strategy that’s strongest.
