I am honored to have the opportunity for the people in Japan to see my works. This is the Russian Series of my Women of the World theme, which I have been shooting on a continuing basis. Young women on Russian street corners, living to provide short-lived happiness. Appearing on the street, then disappearing in a wink, I captured their fleeting moments. In that moment, the entire city seemed to shine gloriously.

I like how it’s relaxed. This relaxed feel gives the loose focus the opposite affect of making it something nostalgic. I also like the women’s eyes. The out-of-focus happened to work this time, but it would probably be wise not to blur focus intentionally.
