“Madame Cucumber”
In my life, I experience different feelings and emotions, and sometimes burst into an excessively intense emotion. However, I have survived such critical moments. I have been fortunate, or I should be grateful to have people protecting me. I wanted to express such thoughts in a photograph, in a pop art style.
To photograph, I look into the viewfinder with one of my eyes, and it is associated with voyeurism. I, looking at an object to be photographed in the finder, can transform my spiritual world into a visual expression of feelings. That is making photographs, and an act of making me feel healed.

Her work is cute and weird. That’s a good point, and it reflects the changing times. The sliminess of the shiny ice-like substance is impressive. The doll in that substance is sinking headlong in the toilet and gets drowned, and it seems to be related to the atmosphere of the times. It is a surrealistic approach to looking into the present.
