“Random”
There is a moment when I have an urge to press the shutter, and it comes unexpectedly. It is like an urge to go to the toilet, and I hasten to do it, and after doing it, I feel as if I had no money to buy something to eat when I am starved. I wish that my eye could function as a shutter. So, I always have a spy camera with me, and the frequency of my photographs has doubled.

My photograph is like a bookmark placed between pages, if the flowing images of daily life were considered to form a book. I feel the urge to print and show that particular page (photographs) to people, when I am turning the pages. Probably I put the mark because I fear losing or forgetting the page.

What is impressive is that it appears that she has not decided what or how to photograph. Also, her way of presenting them is in fragments; e.g., puttingthem in frames. Vulgarity, elegance, sex, poison, sensitiveness, and emotion are in a jumble, with a lot of latent elements and possibilities. I can hardly believe that some of her works are made by the same photographer. That makes her work attractive, and visitors will have a feeling that she is saying “I’M SMART.”
