“Snapping in the Australia”

I like traveling, and now I’m enthusiastic about it. The pictures are from my travels in Australia; things associated with memories of my journey, such as things that I used, except for the mounting cardboard. As everyone has their favorite scenery and places, I have scenes that are printed in my memory and recur in my mind. I take pictures of them as they occur to me. I have included only Australian scenes, such as the eucalyptus leaves I collected and bottle stoppers of beer I drank. I would like to say “Thanks” to my Australian friend, Tammy, who proposed using my picture for the book cover.

Very cute. Above all, this work is charming. An attractive collage arrangement in her own way composes her memories of travels. The feelings that she experienced through the journey are expressed in a direct and natural way, and that is attractive. Various impressions she had, when she traveled in Australia, are embodied and crystallized in the fragmented “forms” in the work. There is an image that she is traveling again in her work, which adds to her originality. I believe that editing is a very important process. What is adds to the dignity of a work is to adhere to one’s own way and not to copy others. In this respect, it would have been better if she had presented only the collage work without the prints. That’s really a pity.
