Listening. Smelling. Looking for the game that must be somewhere but doesn’t exist. A remix of interchanging colors and scents. Tactile sensations. Encounters. Living together. Parting ways. Five thousand times running mad and six thousand times flashing. Empathy is unnecessary. The essence of doing is priority. Misunderstanding is the essence. Not giving up. Walking bare feet in a tiring town. Renewing myself. Never stopping. Knees that arouse. There is a lot of provocation to see. Many overlapped optical illusions become sharp eyes. Dazzling communication. Have no sympathy. Just capturing what I want.

Selecting judge: Katsuhiko Hibino

This work is presented in a book format with a deliberate overall uniform roughness. It deliberately uses a cheap file that can be found anywhere within which are arranged photographs that at first glance appear to be extremely crude. But in fact the affect achieved is extremely calculated. The photographs are color copies inserted into a file. The rough manner of printing, using either a copier or printer, is very studied and the pictures are skillfully arranged. The mismatching layout is visually jarring. The graffiti on the cover compliments the overall feel of the work. The piece has a definite editorial sense about it.
