There is one being in front of me.
This means two beings came together at some point in the past.
These two beings also came from another pair of beings.
This goes back infinitely.
Right now there is one being in front of me.
I contemplate this natural occurrence to the extreme.
I accept the being in front of me as one isolated being.
Nothing more, nothing less.
It is because we are born and die as one being that we desire, search for, embrace and create another being.
We are beings, right in the middle of an endless flow of connections.
Under this fact, all beings are equal.

"Good morning. … It's very nice. Wow, that's cool. Thank you. It was great to be able to photograph you. Well then, until we meet again."

I like the artist's attitude towards photography. There are no excessive elements, and they are photographs that start from four corners and go straight for the center. It is difficult to take really straightforward photographs. This person must be someone who is often straightforward. They are not confused, and they have a certain clarity. And there are no chinks in any of the photographs. The composition of the book, also, is interesting because it seems random—the first four photographs are of baby strollers on the beach, and in the middle of the book there are some pages with photos only on the right page. It's intentional, but it seems random. I think it is a very sharp collection of photography.
