"Fluid Film"
The world and my life, started 13700000000 years ago, my life is 30 years, and for now it continues flowing on without end.
This flow has no distinction between negative and positive, there's no way to sum it up and no way to name it, it's just movement itself.
That's my worldview, and the thoughts and desires I have to capture, see, and bring into feeling that view is what motivates me to create my work.
Self, Poetry, History, Death, Accomplishment, Thought ….*
I capture the flow of the world and the days in it, not limiting it to just see (shi) ing, imbuing words and narrative strength (to sum up, to name) with power.
"Quantification of shi-ing", "Shi-photographization", "Shi-er" ... in order to capture the flow, transform it into feeling, transform it into a work, transform it into an environment, the act of looking, watching, examining, seeing, viewing...
I continue to transform this into photography.
A photographer, photographizing.
It starts with "see"ing.
*(translator's note: all of these words can be pronounced shi in Japanese)

This work is consistently trying to deal with the magical qualities of light. There is a lot that can be expressed through photography using natural and artificial light, but there is intensity in how artificial light and sunlight is connected to flames through plasma phenomena. Flames have no shape, and they have a fluid, primitive image. That primary light source, linked with people, water, mountains, and heavenly bodies in the piece cause the viewer to rethink the environment in which we live, or perhaps give a desire to find nature anew. Among our capitalist lifestyles, there is always going to be the savage fire and the flowing water. I fiercely felt that the photos were being used to scoop those places out of the unknown world.
