Exhibition titled “ASIA SERENDIPITY” opens
Fumio Nanjo (director of the Mori Art Museum and a New Cosmos of Photography judge from 1991 - 2008) has planned an exhibition titled “ASIA SERENDIPITY” at PHotoEspaña, one of the biggest international photography exhibitions in Europe.
The exhibition introduces five artists from China, India, the Philippines, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as 10 successive winners of the New Cosmos of Photography from Japan, who have all produced creative, original works featuring evocative images, rather than documentary photos.
This popular exhibit provides a valuable opportunity to introduce the possibilities of photographic expression presented by the next generation from Asia to Europe and Spain, where Asian photography is not well known.
