Hiroshi Nomura’s first publication “EYES” on sale

“EYES,” a long-awaited book of photographs by Hiroshi Nomura, who was an Excellence Award winner in 1992 and 1993 (the third and fifth competitions) is on sale.

Is it watching, or is it being watched?
When everything has an eye,
Something begins to move in its heart.

Nomura’s works are known for a style that retains humor and wit, and this book seems to have evolved from that stage. In this fantasy for adults, things pasted with eye-stickers fuse everyday life to give us a glimpse of a world of different dimensions. Viewers are invited to see something that is not just cute or scary. Photographer Daido Moriyama describes the worldview of this photo book exquisitely on a narrow paper band around the book jacket.
