SHOWCASE #1 curated by Minoru Shimizu and held in Kyoto
Professor Minoru Shimizu is a highly respected contemporary art critic, and is known for presenting clear-cut explanations based logical analyses, as well as being a New Cosmos of Photography judge. For this special exhibition, Prof. Shimizu lent us his unique and superior eye for judging prominent works to select four emerging photographers under the age of 30: Karen Sato (2010 (33rd competition) Grand Prize winner), Daisuke Nakashima (2007 (30th competition) Co-Grand Prize winner), Yousuke Takeda (2007 (30th competition) 2008 (31st competition) Honorable Mention winner), and Shunsuke Kano (2011 (34th competition) Honorable Mention winner) are holding a group exhibition. This exhibition that will create a new generation that spread out from Kyoto. Come and take a look.
