Koji Sekimoto holds an exhibition titled “Another Me”
Koji Sekimoto (New Cosmos of Photography 2008, 2010 (the 30th and 32nd competition) Honorable Mention winner) will be holding his first exhibition in his hometown of Kobe. The subjects he used as models are clay statues, and the process by which he created the background set etc. meant it took about one month to create one photograph.
This time, Sekimoto spent a month and a half at the venue, and gave a presentation with the theme of “traveling through time.” “Artwork is a mirror that expresses the mind of the viewer, and it is a door that surpasses dimensions” is the theme of this exhibition of new works, as well as existing works that have the same theme. An interview with the artist, and a camera workshop for children will also be held. Come and take a look.
