Megumi Kurosawa’s first photo book “cat’s whereabout” is on sale
The first photo book by Megumi Kurosawa, a Co-Grand Prize winner of New Cosmos of Photography 2007 (the 30th competition), will come onto the market from Archives Shuppan late in January.
“cat’s whereabout” is the title of the first photo book of Megumi Kurosawa, who won a Co-Grand Prize last November with her work “DOUBLE LIFE,” in which a man who has the mind of a woman is depicted. She first began to photograph cats following a request to make a photo book of cats in Enoshima, but soon she was walking around here and there to photograph the daily lives of cats in different towns. The photos are collected in this book. The paper band on the book reads, “They are mostly there when I think they are.” As this is totally different from her prize-winning work “DOUBLE LIFE,” you shouldn’t miss it.
